I'm still not feeling that great. The house is a mess, B and G are painting/playing playdough/watching TV, so I'm being productive by sitting on my butt. I've just started adding my first design (the mandala I taught during my workshop last week) to Ravelry, when I realised I need to publish it on here first. Or at least, provide somewhere to link it to. (I went to do a smiley face there - do you use text smileys on blogs? I don't know).
Anyway, this is what I call the Beginner Mandala. It's a basic mandala that introduces changing colours, you use a couple of different stitches, and it's only 5 rounds (plus an optional slip stitch decorative round) so shouldn't take too long to complete. Have a go,you can find it on
